The Best TV Panels At San Diego Comic-Con 2019

It’s less than two weeks until San Diego Comic-Con 2019 begins. And for fans who can’t get enough of their favorite TV shows, there are several panels worthy of your attention. The only problem is that it’s impossible to hit all of them!

Here’s our breakdown of some of the “can’t miss” television-themed panels taking place over the four-day event.

Batman Beyond

Thursday, July 18- 12:15 PM- Hall H

Commemorating the 20th anniversary of Warner Bros.’ hit animated series, Batman Beyond,this panel will feature a number of producers, directors and voice talents behind the show. The retrospective will look back at various episodes of the series and the animated film, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. For good measure, they’ll also offer up “exclusive prizes,” as well as “cool announcements.”

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Thursday, July 18- 3:30 PM- Hall H

The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are set to take over Hall H, with a look at episodes to come and possible details on the seventh season. Clark Gregg and various other cast members will be there, along with executive producers of the show.

His Dark Materials

Thursday, July 18- 4:45 PM- Hall H

HBO’s His Dark Materials is one of the network’s most promising new shows. This panel will feature a first look at the show, with various cast members and executive producers in attendance.

Fear The Walking Dead

Friday, July 19- 12:00 PM- Hall H

The fifth season of AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead is in full swing, but what’s to come in the second half of the season? Cast and crew will be on hand for this panel to provide a first glimpse. Hint: expect a lot of carnage. And zombies.

Rick and Morty

Friday, July 19- 1:00 PM- Indigo Ballroom

Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty is back with a vengeance, and getting into more trouble than ever before. Dan Harmon, Justin Roiland and other cast members will be on hand for a first look at the new season. Will Pickle Rick make a return? Or, for that matter, is Mr. Poopybutthole coming back? Fans will find out this November!

The Walking Dead

Friday, July 19- 1:00 PM- Hall H

The Walking Dead team always puts on quite a show in Hall H. Several cast members and producers from the series will be on hand to showcase what’s coming in season 10. The question is…who will survive for this latest go-around?

The Witcher

Friday, July 19- 2:15 PM- Hall H

There have been a lot of questions about Netflix’s adaptation of The Witcher. Primarily, we’re curious to see how Henry Cavill will portray Geralt of Rivia. During this panel, fans should get a first look at what to expect from the show, with stars and producers on hand. And, hopefully, a premiere date as well.

The Boys

Friday, July 19- 3:30 PM- Ballroom 20

Amazon’s adaptation of Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s The Boys comic should be a lot of fun. Fans can join star Karl Urban and others in this panel, as they share a taste of what’s to come when it premieres later this month. Expect a lot of superhero carnage.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance

Friday, July 19- 3:30 PM- Hall H

Netflix’s The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance is a prequel series to the classic Jim Henson movie, and it looks absolutely spellbinding thus far. During this Comic-Con panel, attendees will see exclusive clips and get a closer look behind-the-scenes.

Carnival Row

Friday, July 19- 4:45 PM- Ballroom 20

Amazon’s fantasy series, Carnival Row, looks to be a huge addition to its library, and fans can see more of it in action during this panel. Orlando Bloom, Cara Delevingne, and others will be on hand to talk more about the series, which premieres later this year.

Game of Thrones

Friday, July 19- 5:30 PM- Hall H

Game of Thrones says its farewell to San Diego Comic-Con with this Hall H presentation. Cast members will be on hand to discuss memories from the final season of the show, along with producers/writers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.

Preacher

Friday, July 19- 7:00 PM- Hall H

The final season of Preacher is just around the corner, and executive producer Seth Rogen and various cast members will come to San Diego Comic-Con to say goodbye in style. Expect a first look at the final go-around, along with other surprises.

Batwoman

Saturday, July 20- 10:30 AM- Ballroom 20

For those wanting to see Batwoman in action before her premiere this fall, here’s your chance! The series premiere will be shown in Ballroom 20, followed by a Q & A with executive producers and actors behind the show, including Batwoman herself, Ruby Rose!

Star Trek: Universe

Saturday, July 20- 11:30 AM- Hall H

Star Trek fans, this panel is for you. It will cover all three of CBS All Acess’ Star Trek shows, including Discovery, Picard, and the animated Lower Decks series. On top of that, several stars and producers will be in attendance, answering any burning questions that you may have!

The Good Place

Saturday, July 20- 12:00 PM- Indigo Ballroom

NBC’s feel-good series about the afterlife will return for one final season this fall, and the cast and crew will be on hand to talk about what to expect during this panel. Fans are in for a forking good time with this one.

Westworld

Saturday, July 20- 1:15 PM- Hall H

The third season of Westworld promises to be much different than those before it – and we don’t just mean with Aaron Paul. Producers and stars will be on hand to talk about what’s to be expected – or possibly unexpected – come spring 2020 on HBO.

Supernatural

Sunday, July 21- 10:30 AM- Hall H

The long-running CW series will come to an end after this year, but what better way for Supernatural to go than with a celebratory San Diego Comic-Con panel? Stars from the series will make one last appearance in Hall H, with clips, surprises and more.

Riverdale

Sunday, July 21- 11:45 AM- Hall H

Speaking of hit CW series, Riverdale’s stars and producers will be on hand to discuss what to hype up the third season’s release on home video in August. In addition, some surprises about the fourth season may be revealed as well.
