It’s hard to say who’s to blame for the latest Cicada debacle on The Flash. In last night’s episode, Nora spent more time trying to set Sherloque up with a significant other than she did on hunting down Cicada. Her mother, Iris, went even further by tracking Cicada to his home and failing to summon the team in time to capture him. In the new promo for The Flash episode 5.14, those mistakes are going to haunt both Nora and Iris.
The video makes it appear that Cicada will succeed in killing Iris. Considering that Cicada ran into Iris in his own home, that one is more on her than anything else. If the footage is any indication, Nora will go on a Groundhog Day style time loop to prevent iris’ murder. It also appears that Nora’s constant attempts to rewrite her recent history will have dire consequences. She might save her mother, but that could prove to be fatal for another member of their team.

Barry (Grant Gustin) puts the finishing touches on the metahuman cure, leaving Cisco (Carlos Valdes) with a rare night off so he decides to take Kamilla (guest star Victoria Park) on a date.”
