As promised last week, the viral campaign for Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man has entered a new stage at the Oscorp Industries website, allowing ARG players to test their skills as potential Oscorp interns by completing a nine-level puzzle based on chemical bonds between various elements. Doing so has turned up quite a few new images and videos.
For a complete play-by-play, check out the ongoing thread at the Unfiction forums where players, with hints from each puzzle, have unlocked new subdomains of the Oscorp URL including: /covalence, /araneae, /foundations, /skeweddistribution, /externalvalidity and /dependentvariable.
Treasures unlocked with each stage include the two video messages of Rhys Ifans’ Dr. Curt Connors, a photo of Connors with Richard Parker (Campbell Scott) and a letter from Mary Parker (Embeth Davidtz) to her “Richie”. Check it all out below and keep looking for clues, as the game is likely far from over!
