MTV alerted us that they spoke to Diane Nelson about the formation of DC Entertainment:
Just posted a fairly lengthy interview w/ Diane Nelson, the new head of DC Entertainment. She discusses the effect of the recent company restructuring on the comics and movies side, but also offers some hints about the changes we could see in the future.
Most notably, she specifically calls out Vertigo as an area of interest for more development, and addresses the likelihood of seeing more comic creators involved in films (a la Geoff Johns on Flash, as well as all of the Marvel creators involved with Marvel movies). She also weighs in on the rumors about the “call back” on DC-related movies developed with non-WB producers.
