Don’t get your hopes up too high for a fall theatrical release for Lions Gate Films’ Man-Thing. HSX just listed the latest release date changes and it shows that the studio has removed Man-Thing from their schedule. Usually what this means (at least in numerous past cases) that the film is headed straight for video and DVD. We’ll keep an eye on any other developments.
Meanwhile, Fox has bumped Alien vs. Predator back a week to August 13th, which puts it right smack up against New Line’s Blade: Trinity. Will one of the studios blink as we get closer and move their film? Stay tuned.
