Luke Cage Making Progress at Sony

Comics Continuum talked to Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige who said that the live-action Luke Cage movie is making progress at Sony and might be a 2005 release.

“Ben Ramsey turned in one of the best drafts that I have ever read,” Feige said. “It’s going to have a totally unique flavor from all of our films. It’s totally contemporary Cage and a helluva lot of fun.”

Feige said Cage’s signature “Sweet Christmas” is part of the film, but it isn’t a retro-movie. A director or star have not been announced yet by the studio.
