Thunderbolts* popcorn bucket inspired by David Harbour’s character Red Guardian’s limousine was recently unveiled by AMC Theatres. The release of Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* is almost a month away, and the aforementioned collectible has ignited excitement among fans. The movie stars Harbour, Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Lewis Pullman, Hannah John-Kamen, Olga Kurylenko, and many others.
Red Guardian rides his Limousine in AMC’s Thunderbolts* popcorn bucket
AMC Theaters recently shared the first look at the Thunderbolts* popcorn bucket, which is based on the red limousine of Red Guardian, also known as Alexei Shostakov.
The popcorn bucket resembles the car’s red color and also has bullet markings on it. Additionally, it also has “Red Guardian limo service” written on it, along with the character’s star symbol. Fans can grab their bucket starting May 1, 2025, and enjoy eating popcorn by opening the engine or the sunroof of the merch.
Announcing the launch of the bucket on X (formerly Twitter), the popular theatre chain stated, “Ride in style with an unexpected team! Get the exclusive #THUNDERBOLTS* Red Guardian limousine collectible at #AMCTheatres, starting 5/1, while supplies last.”
Fans gathered in the comments, with one user sharing a gif of Red Guardian from the movie and writing, “Hehe!!! I’m totally picking this up!” Another user wrote, “This is awesome!”
Thunderbolts* is arriving on May 2 and will focus on the anti-heroes teaming up for a dangerous mission. According to AMC‘s official description of the movie, the story revolves around “an unconventional team of antiheroes—Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster and John Walker.” They find themselves “ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine,” following which they “embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts.”
Previously, Marvel Studios also unveiled the official popcorn bucket for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, inspired by The Thing, at CinemaCon.
