The final runtime for Marvel StudiosThunderbolts* has been officially revealed.

What is the runtime for Thunderbolts*?

According to Regal’s website, the PG-13-rated Marvel Cinematic Universe movie has a runtime of two hours and six minutes, or 126 minutes. That’s pretty on par for the superhero franchise, as most of its theatrical entries clock in around the 2-hour mark. For instance, the runtime for last year’s Deadpool & Wolverine was two hours and eight minutes, while 2023’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was 2 hours and five minutes.

Directed by Jake Schreier, Thunderbolts* will be the final movie released in Phase 5 of the MCU. While plot details remain largely under wraps, the movie will see fan-favorite antiheroes from across the franchise finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, played by returning MCU star Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Together, “these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts. Will this dysfunctional group tear themselves apart, or find redemption and unite as something much more before it’s too late?” concludes the synopsis for the MCU movie.

The team — consisting of Florence Pugh‘s Yelena Belova, David Harbour‘s Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell‘s John Walker/U.S. Agent, Olga Kurylenko‘s Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster, Hannah John-Kamen‘s Ava Starr/Ghost, and Sebastian Stan‘s Bucky Barnes — will also have to stop Lewis Pullman‘s Sentry, whose villainous other half known as The Void threatens to destroy New York City.

Thunderbolts* won’t be the last time that fans see the titular team in the MCU, as five out of the six members were recently confirmed to be appearing in Avengers: Doomsday. Pugh, Harbour, John-Kamen, Russell, and Stan, as well as Pullman, will all be returning for Doomsday, which is now in production with the Russo Brothers at the helm.

Kurylenko was the only major Thunderbolts* actor not revealed during the record-breaking Doomsday cast announcement livestream, seemingly confirming that a popular fan theory about Taskmaster is correct.

Thunderbolts* is scheduled to hit theaters on May 2, 2025.
