Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will reportedly introduce a redesigned black suit featuring the classic “DD” emblem, according to recent set videos and photos. While Marvel Studios has not confirmed plot details, the costume update follows ongoing speculation about Shadowland-inspired elements and builds on visual clues from the latest on-set footage.

Set photos and video from Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 have revealed a new version of the black suit worn by Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock, now featuring the iconic “DD” chest emblem.
Shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @TheMontyVerse and others, the footage shows Daredevil’s stunt double filming a sequence outside Josie’s Bar, wearing a black costume similar to the Shadowland design. The double D logo is clearly visible in red on the front of the suit.
Bullseye damaged Josie’s Bar during the series premiere. In the video, Daredevil swings his baton while entering the bar, though the footage does not reveal his target. The scene’s connection to Bullseye remains unconfirmed, but his prior involvement with the location fuels speculation.
Photos and videos also show the streets under martial law enforced by Fisk’s AVTF in broad daylight. Wilson Fisk, played by Vincent D’Onofrio, is now serving as Mayor, as part of his ongoing political storyline. Charlie Cox continues in his role as Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer and vigilante known as Daredevil.
Season 2 includes a version of the Shadowland suit, though Marvel Studios has not confirmed a direct adaptation of the Shadowland comic storyline. The studio often incorporates elements from comic arcs without adapting them in full. The new chest emblem brings the suit closer to its traditional comic book design.
Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, and Jon Bernthal return in the upcoming season. Showrunner Dario Scardapane leads the series, which will stream on Disney+ in 2026.
