Captain America: Brave New World’s The Leader Allegedly Leaked in Promo Art

As the release date for Captain America 4 approaches, fans appear to have received a new look at Tim Blake Nelson’s The Leader. The actor originally played Samuel Sterns in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, with his villainous character now returning to continue his arc in Captain America: Brave New World, 17 years after his Marvel debut. With excitement and speculation continuing to brew around his comeback, a recent leak has seemingly revealed The Leader’s complete look in Captain America 4.

Here’s how The Leader could look in Captain America: Brave New World

A recent leak shared by MCU Facility shows Tim Blake Nelson’s Sterns following his complete transformation into The Leader. The post shows the character with pale green skin and an enlarged head. The rest of the character’s appearance appears grounded and in line with the political thriller tones of the film, so he can be seen in the image wearing a blue shirt and gray trousers underneath a brown overcoat.

Renowned internet scooper MyTimeToShineHello also re-shared the post on their feed, adding some amount of credibility to the supposed leak.

Notably, The Leader’s appearance in the leak resembles the official promo art shared by Marvel Studios a few days earlier. However, both of these images are animated, so fans have yet to get an actual look at how Tim Blake Nelson himself looks in Captain America 4. Moreover, Marvel has yet to share any official word on the image shared by MCU Facility at the time of writing.

Captain America: Brave New World will serve as the first cinematic adventure for Anthony Mackie as the titular superhero. Though he appeared frequently in the MCU for over a decade, Mackie’s Sam Wilson only embraced his new role towards the conclusion of the series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in 2021. In his debut big-screen appearance as Captain America, Sam Wilson will be going up against several iconic villains, including Nelson’s Leader, Giancarlo Esposito’s Sidewinder, and Harrison Ford’s Thunderbolt Ross/Red Hulk.

Captain America 4 is scheduled to hit the theatres on February 14, 2025.
