Rumor says Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 could face a release date delay
In a recent podcast episode with John Rocha, renowned industry insider, Jeff Sneider revealed that there could be a chance that Spider-Man 4 might be delayed.
Although Sneider hasn’t confirmed the information with Sony or Marvel Studios yet, he stated in the clip that he heard about the film’s release date getting pushed. He said, “I’m under the impression that would go in the second half of the year. Sounds like if it does… I keep hearing Spider-Man 4 may have been pushed to like, end of 2025, early 2026.”
Sneider further added, “I don’t see a world in which it makes that release date in 2026 in the summer. So, I’m hearing that something’s up with Spider-Man 4’s date and that that may be pushed some months.” Previously Sony confirmed that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 is aiming for a July 24, 2026, release. Additionally, Destin Daniel Cretton has been brought on board to helm the direction.
As per Entertainment Weekly, Holland spoke about Spider-Man 4 on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He shared, “It’s happening. Next summer we start shooting. Everything’s good to go. We’re nearly there. It’s super exciting. Yeah, I can’t wait.”
The actor also appeared for a chat on GMA in October 2024 and stated, “We feel confident that the idea is strong enough that this is going ahead, we’re going to shoot this summer. The idea is crazy, it’s a little different than what we’ve done before.”
