Agatha All Along has finally wrapped up its nine-episode run, with the limited series concluding on October 30. The show provided fans with a deeper look into the magical sides of the MCU, introducing a plethora of new characters, such as Joe Locke‘s Wiccan and Aubrey Plaza’s Death. However, the Kathryn Hahn-led series originally intended to have many more MCU characters in its narrative, as revealed by showrunner Jac Schaeffer. In a recent discussion, she disclosed that Agatha All Along’s creative team had initially planned a cameo for She-Hulk‘s Madisynn King.
Jac Schaeffer reveals she wanted She-Hulk’s Madisynn to cameo in Agatha All Along
Schaeffer wanted Patty Guggenheim’s Madisynn, who first appeared in the MCU in 2022’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, to cameo in Agatha All Along. Nevertheless, such plans never came to fruition after Schaeffer deemed her inclusion in Agatha’s story to be inadequate.
The TiMER director shed light on her original plans for the hit show during an interview with The Ringer-Verse. While talking about Agatha’s makeshift coven, Schaeffer admitted that she tried to include a cameo from She-Hulk’s Madisynn into the setting at first. “[We wanted] to get Madisynn on the Witches’ Road, but it just didn’t work. It was shoehorning,” she explained. (via Comic Book Movie)
Guggenheim’s Madisynn was one of the brightest spots in an otherwise divisive show that was She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. After getting involved in Kamar-Taj-student-turned-magician Donny Blaze’s antics, Madisynn finds herself in the witness box in one of Jennifer Walters’ cases. She also strikes up an adorable friendship with the Sorcerer Supreme, Benedict Wong, which has received much appreciation from viewers and critics alike.
At the time of writing, Madisynn King’s future in the MCU remains uncertain. However, if Agatha All Along receives a surprise second season, fans can maybe expect the fan-favorite She-Hulk character to make a brief cameo.
