Who is Agony’s host in Venom 3: The Last Dance?

Dr. Teddy Payne bonds with the new symbiote, Agony, in the final installment of the Venom film series.

In the film, Juno Temple’s Dr. Payne is introduced as someone with a fondness for symbiotes, which can even take a dangerous turn. In the last scene of Venom 3, she comes across a symbiote called Agony in the facility and decides to protect it from trouble. However, a twist follows, as Dr. Payne ends up bonding with the symbiote. Eventually, they both manage to safely escape as Rex Strickland destroys the facility.

What powers and abilities does Dr. Payne’s Agony possess in Venom 3?

The symbiote named Agony has unique powers in the Marvel Universe.

Agony was created as a life enforcer by the Life Foundation and is depicted as a villainous offspring of Venom. While her powers are similar to the other symbiotes, she ends up getting a boost from the US government.

During Agony’s bonding with Dr. Payne, it is shown that the two have lightning and electricity-based powers. This is depicted with Agony’s vial drizzling with electricity and the lighting scars on Dr. Payne’s body. Additionally, she can move at a lightning-fast speed, allowing the two and Sadie to escape the facility before its destruction.

Moreover, the lightning power can be doubled up after a bonding. In the comics, Agony also has a minor power of acid generation, which leads to her releasing corrosive acid. Meanwhile, fans can witness Agony’s smashing introduction by catching Venom 3: The Last Dance in theatres.
