Venom 3 Rumor Potentially Spoils Andy Serkis’ Surprise Role

The upcoming Venom 3, AKA Venom: The Last Dance might have Andy Serkis portraying the role of supervillain Knull, as per a new rumor. According to industry scoopers, Serkis, who helmed the direction of 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage, might be returning to the franchise. However, the catch is that he might be none other than Knull. The hype around Venom 3 has been at an all-time high, considering it is Tom Hardy’s last outing as Venom and also has Knull being portrayed for the first time on screen.

Venom 3: The Last Dance rumor suggests Andy Serkis is playing villain Knull

As per a new rumor, Andy Serkis might be in to portray Knull in the upcoming Venom movie.

The scoop was posted by DanielRPK on his Patreon and another Hollywood scooper, My Time To Shine Hello, made the same claim on their X ( formerly Twitter) account. Knull, who is also known as the God and creator of symbiote, is hinted to be on a mission to hunt down Venom in Venom: The Last Dance, as shown in the trailer.

However, the makers only showed a glimpse of Knull and kept the name of the actor who is portraying the big bad, a mystery. Furthermore, if the rumor of Andy Serkis being Knull turns out to be true following the release of the movie, it would mark the actor’s second appearance as a Marvel character. The first one is Ulysses Klaue in the movie, Black Panther.

According to The Disinsider, Serkis is rumored to play Knull using motion capture, a form that he has mastered. Previously, in a 2022 interview with Slash Film, the actor denied his involvement in Venom 3, saying he has to work on his dream project, Animal Farm. The production of the latter was delayed due to Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
