Thus, following the concluding scene of Doctor Strange 2, in which Scarlet Witch destroys all the copies of the Darkhold and the ceiling and walls of Mout Wundagore topple over her, many fans were left wondering whether she was dead. The scene also showed a red glow projecting from her as the walls fall on Olsen’s character, but since then, Marvel has not made any concrete claims about her future.
However, scooper @MyTimeToShineHello has recently made a tweet on X about her possible future. Per Marvel Updates, ”Wanda will have a major role to play in the AVENGERS films.” Although there is no confirmation yet, the recent interview by Elizabeth Olsen might be hinting at this.
Elizabeth Olsen was recently a guest at the Dublin Radio outlet FM104, where she expressed her desire to play Scarlet Witch again and said, ”If there’s a good way to use her I’m always happy to come back, however they can make that make sense.”
In another recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel, she revealed her feelings on the possibility of Scarlet Witch’s death and said, ”I think so. I assume as much. Yeah, and there was a red light of explosive energy. I think I’m dead. I would beg to leave a window open. I had so much fun doing these movies. I would like to figure out how to cleverly be undead. We need to find the smartest writers to figure out how to make this all make sense. I’m open to ideas.”
