Final Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Movie Sets Streaming Premiere Date

The third and final installment in the animated Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths trilogy has finally received its streaming premiere date on Max.

Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three will premiere on the Warner Bros. Discovery-owned streaming service on October 21, 2024, roughly three months after it was released on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and Digital. The animated trilogy is based on the 12-issue limited comic book series of the same name from the mid-1980s, which was written by Marv Wolfman and penciled by George Pérez. The first two parts of Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths were released earlier this year.

“Now fully revealed as the ultimate threat to existence, the ANTI-MONITOR wages an unrelenting attack on the surviving Earths that struggle for survival in a pocket universe,” reads the official synopsis for Part Three. “One-by-one, these worlds and all their inhabitants are vaporized! On the planets that remain, even time itself is shattered and heroes from the past join the Justice League and their rag-tag allies against the epitome of evil. But as they make their last stand, will the sacrifice of the superheroes be enough to save us all?”

Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three concludes the Tomorrowverse

Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three is the tenth and final installment in the Tomorrowverse, a collection of animated DC films that share a cohesive animation style and continuity, beginning with its namesake, Superman: Man of Tomorrow (2020).

The voice cast for Part Three features several returning Tomorrowverse actors, such as Darren Criss as Superman and Earth-2 Superman; Stana Katic as Wonder Woman and Superwoman; Jensen Ackles as Batman; Matt Bomer as The Flash; Jimmi Simpson as Green Arrow; Ike Amadi as J’onn J’onzz/Martian Manhunter, Amazing Man, and Ivo; Meg Donnelly as Supergirl and Harbinger; and Aldis Hodge as John Stewart/Green Lantern and Power Ring; among others.

Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three is also notable for featuring Kevin Conroy’s final performance as Bruce Wayne/Batman. The actor completed recording his reprisal as the DC Animated Universe’s Caped Crusader before he passed away on November 10, 2022. In the movie, Conroy’s final Batman scene takes place within the DC Animated Universe’s Gotham City, showing the Dark Knight facing off against Mark Hamill’s Joker one last time as their universe is killed by the Anti-Monitor.

Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three arrives on Max on Oct. 21.
