Agatha All Along star Kathryn Hahn is ready for Agatha Harkness to meet the Fantastic Four.
Despite her first comic book appearance being in Fantastic Four #94 (1970), Agatha Harkness made her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the 2021 limited series, WandaVision, as the main antagonist of Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch. However, with Marvel’s First Family officially set to join the MCU in next year’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Hahn remains hopeful that Agatha will one day be reunited with the superhero team on the big or small screen.
“I would love to play with that cast. They are all incredible,” Hahn told GamesRadar+ and the Inside Total Film podcast about Agatha meeting the Fantastic Four in the MCU. “And Matt Shakman, who is incredible too, he’s directing the film and did all of WandaVision. I’m very excited for that movie.”

At the time of writing, the confirmed cast for The Fantastic Four: First Steps includes Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing, Julia Garner as Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer, and Ralph Ineson as Galactus.

Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, and Natasha Lyonne are also part of the ensemble, although their roles remain undisclosed at this time. Trusted insider Jeff Sneider has reported that the Fantastic Four villain Mole Man will appear in the movie, as will Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, although this has yet to be confirmed by other publications or Marvel Studios.
Production on First Steps began in July 2024 in London. While plot details remain under wraps, the movie is confirmed not to take place in the MCU, instead being set in an alternate retro-futuristic 1960s universe. First Steps will be the fifth live-action Fantastic Four movie after the unreleased 1994 movie, the 2005 movie and its 2007 sequel, Rise of the Silver Surfer, and 2015’s Fant4stic.
As for Hahn’s Agatha Harkness, MCU fans will be able to witness the character’s return on September 18, when the first two episodes of Agatha All Along premiere on Disney+.
