Ahsoka: Empire Cover Shows Rosario Dawson in Star Wars Disney+ Series

A brand-new look at the upcoming Disney+ Star Wars series Ahsoka is out, giving fans a detailed peek at Rosario Dawson in the starring role.

The new look comes courtesy of a handful of new magazine covers from Empire Magazine, which show Dawson as Ahsoka Tano wielding both of her lightsabers. A second look presents a much more artistic interpretation of the show, showing Ahsoka’s face against the silhouette of the iconic villain Admiral Thrawn, who be will be played by Lars Mikkelsen.

What is Ahsoka about?

“Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy,” reads the official description.

Rosario Dawson stars as Ahsoka Tano in the limited series after the character made her live-action debut in The Mandalorian. Joining Dawson is Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, and Ray Stevenson.

The limited series is written by Dave Filoni who executive produces along with Jon Favreau and Kathleen Kennedy. No additional details about the project have been released.
