Dwayne Johnson Confirms Black Adam’s Hall H Panel at Comic-Con

The hierarchy of power at San Diego Comic-Con is about to change. Warner Bros. has largely stayed silent about which DC films it intends to promote at SDCC later this month. But leave it to Dwayne Johnson to spill the beans. Earlier this week, Johnson announced via Twitter that Black Adam will get its own panel in Hall H on Saturday, July 23.

Johnson confirmed the news in a video message to fans, where his enthusiasm for the film’s title character is on full display. Among other things, Johnson promised “gifts” for everyone who attends, which could mean anything from new footage to limited-edition artwork. He also shared that director Jaume Collet-Serra and at least three members of the Justice Society are tagging along as well. Noah Centineo (Atom Smasher), Quintessa Swindell (Cyclone), and Aldis Hodge (Hawkman) will all appear onstage. However, Johnson didn’t mention Pierce Brosnan, who also stars in Black Adam as the JSA’s final member, Doctor Fate.

Comic-Con International has already revealed the full slate of panels scheduled for Thursday, July 21. So presumably, the event’s list of Saturday programming won’t be posted until the end of this week. Right now, it’s anyone’s guess if WB booked Hall H for other upcoming movies like Batgirl or Shazam! Fury of the Gods. But we can reportedly rule out panels for 2023 releases like The Flash, Blue Beetle, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

Black Adam will hit theaters on October 21.
