It’s becoming a Disney+ Star Wars show tradition. The week after a new episode airs, we get a poster, or multiple posters, of whatever cool new characters showed up. So of course Darth Vader would get his; the only surprise, perhaps, is that it didn’t come out alone. Three Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 3 character posters debuted today, with Darth Vader followed by Tala and NED-B.
Notably and surprisingly absent from the bunch is Freck, everyone’s favorite fascist-sympathizing alien trucker played by Zack Braff. He looked like a mole, probably because every word he said just dug him a deeper hole. But Tala, the double-agent who saved Obi-Wan and Leia from Freck’s betrayal, does merit a poster.

Also appearing? NED-B, the loading droid who’s not programmed to talk, but has way more autonomy than the empire gives him credit for. It’s a weird oversight on their part — Anakin knows full well how smart and independently intelligent someone like R2-D2 can be. Presumably some major post-Trade Federation laws went into effect. You’d mute droids too if they kept saying “Roger roger!” while shooting at you.
