The Original JSA Members Band Together in Stargirl Episode 2.09 Photos

It’s time to meet the legends. In the upcoming ninth episode of Stargirl season 2, fans will see the original members of the Justice Society of America. The recent batch of promotional photos dropped by The CW offers a closer look at Starman, Rex Tyler as Hourman, Ted Grant as Wildcat, and Johnny Thunder.

The next episode will also feature John Wesley Shipp, who will reprise his role as Jay Garrick. The Golden Age Flash was also a member of Earth-2’s JSA. This will be Shipp’s first appearance in the Arrowverse since Crisis on Infinite Earth, where he portrayed Earth-90’s Barry Allen and sacrificed himself to save the multiverse.

Andi Armaganian directed the episode, which was written by Alfredo Septién and Turi Meyer. Here’s the official synopsis for “Summer School: Chapter Nine.”

“JOHN WESLEY SHIPP GUEST STARS AS JAY GARRICK — As Eclipso (Nick Tarabay) takes aim at the Whitmore/Dugan’s, Pat (Luke Wilson) is reminded of painful memories from his past involving the original JSA and their fight to take down Eclipso. Meanwhile, Mike (Trae Romano) is forced to confront the guilt he feels for his role in Icicle’s death, and Barbara (Amy Smart) comes face to face with someone from her past. Finally, Courtney (Brec Bassinger) struggles to hold onto hope after Eclipso targets those around her. Hunter Sansone also stars.”

Stargirl episode 2.09 will hit The CW on Oct. 5.
