After a three-month hiatus, Supergirl is finally back. In the series’ return, Kara and the rest of the team took on a giant garbage monster. And now, The CW has dropped a promo for what’s coming next in the second half of the season. While the promo contains footage from the latest episode, it also features a glimpse at Kara’s upcoming challenges. And it’s pretty clear that she will lock horns with Nyxlygsptlnz once again, now that the Imp is out of the Phantom Zone. It seems that the first target of the character portrayed by Peta Sergeant is Nia Nal. Will the super friends turned against one another?

In the meantime, the next episode will air in a few days. Shannon Kohli directed the episode written by Karen E. Maser and Emilio Ortega Aldrich. The official synopsis for “Dream Weaver” reads:
“SUPERGIRL AND KELLY TEAM UP – Kelly (Azie Tesfai) meets Joey (guest star Aiden Stoxx), a young orphaned alien boy, who is acting out in foster care because he fears there is something wrong with his brother Orlando (guest star Jhaleil Swaby), who is incarcerated. Kelly asks Kara (Melissa Benoist) to help her investigate and they stumble upon abuse at the prison. Meanwhile, Nyxly (Peta Sergeant) crashes one of Nia’s (Nicole Maines) dreams and asks her for help.”
Supergirl episode 6.09 will debut on The CW on Aug. 31.
