Rasputin Takes the Floor in The King’s Man Red Band Trailer

20th Century Studios has had to deal with many delays for The King’s Man. But as the newly released red band trailer for the third installment in the Kingsman franchise reminds us, it’s finally en route. The COVID-19 outbreak complicated things for all and the producers initially pushed the movie from its original release date on Nov. 15, 2019. As time went by and things struggled to improve, the movie’s premiere moved to Feb. 12, 2021, before switching to Aug. 20. Now, it appears that it will hit theaters in December.

The new footage introduces multiple new faces in the franchise as the upcoming story will serve as a prequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service and 2017’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle. It also teases that the Russian mystic Rasputin will play a pivotal role in the secret service’s origin. Considering that it’s a red band trailer, you can expect some violence and (loudly NSFW) scurrilous language in it. You can watch The King’s Man red band trailer in the player below.
