New Loki Poster Teases More about the Timekeepers
It appears that the Time Keepers are going to play a pivotal role in Loki sooner than later. Marvel Studios has taken to their socials to share a poster featuring the statues of three Time Keepers. So far, the show has only hinted at their existence, briefly introducing them as the creators of the Time Variance Authority. They only appeared in cartoon instructional videos and as statues, never revealing themselves. While the poster only offers a closer look at their statues, it implies that more information is about to come in the next installments. It also makes their reptilian nature a lot more evident.

In the comics, He Who Remains created the Time Keepers. At the same time, He Who Remains was also the last director of the Time Variance Authority. They had a long and complicated relationship with the Avengers as they battled — both against and together — for time dominance. In the show, the story has only offered vague answers about them. It appears that even the members of the TVA (or, at least, some of them) haven’t met these powerful beings yet.
The first three episodes of Loki are streaming on Disney+, with episode 4 premiering on Wednesday, June 30.
