Universal Unleashes the New Poster For Jurassic World: Dominion

At long last, the Jurassic Park franchise is coming full circle. Universal has just released a new teaser poster for Jurassic World: Dominion that hearkens back to the original film that started it all in 1993. Check it out for yourself below.

The poster doesn’t reveal anything about the film’s story, which remains a closely guarded secret. Instead, it simply shows a mosquito feasting on a dinosaur’s blood. And as any JP aficionado knows, this is exactly how John Hammond and his team of scientists were able to resurrect the prehistoric beasts way back in the early ‘90s: by finding some of these insects preserved in amber and extracting the dinosaurs’ DNA.

Additionally, the poster confirms that the first round of footage from the sequel isn’t that far off. Anyone who catches an IMAX screening of F9 starting on June 25 will be treated to a “special extended preview” of Dominion. Presumably, this also means that a proper trailer will make its way online around that time as well.

Dominion was originally going to premiere this summer. But due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Universal ended up pushing its release date back to next year. The film was also one of the first major Hollywood productions to resume filming with strict safety guidelines in place. After almost 100 days of shooting, principal photography finally wrapped back in November.

Jurassic World: Dominion will hit theaters on June 10, 2022.

What do you think of the film’s new poster? Will you be checking out the extended preview in theaters later this month? Let us know in the comment section below!
