Not long after releasing the first look at movie footage , Marvel Studios has dropped the first proper teaser for Eternals. The video introduces the next big assemblage of heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the footage, they arrive with a majestic spaceship. Then, Ajak explains that they haven’t interfered with human history so far. But they are now willing to do it without revealing the reason yet. The video also offers a closer look at all the large cast for the movie, featuring the Eternals suited up in their shiny costumes for the first time. Right before the end of the clip, they are lunching together as the conversation drops to the fact that the Avengers are leaderless now that both Captain America and Iron Man are gone. Of course, Richard Madden’s Ikaris offers himself to lead Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, provoking a general laugh among the table companions.

The upcoming film is directed by Academy Award winner Chloé Zhao. Besides Madden, the Eternals cast includes Angelina Jolie, Lauren Ridloff, Salma Hayek, Brian Tyree Henry, Don Lee, and Kit Harington, among others. Gemma Chan will lead the cast as Sersi, unlike in the comics where Ikaris usually leads the superpowered ensemble.
According to Disney’s plans, Eternals will hit theaters on Nov. 5. In the meantime, you can see the first poster for the movie here below.
