CBS All Access to Host Cast Reunion Panels for Star Trek Day

On Sept. 8th, the 54th anniversary of the original airing of “The Man Trap,” Star Trek‘s first episode to be shown on network TV, CBS All Access will celebrate Star Trek Day. Per the official site, the event will take place over 24 hours, including nine panels, exclusive news, episode marathons and charity opportunities. Exclusive merchandise? No need to ask. There will also be a flash sale of existing inventory at the StarTrek.com store.

The following panels have been announced so far:

  • Discovery with stars Sonequa Martin-Green and David Ajala and co-showrunners and executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Michelle Paradise.
  • Strange New Worlds with stars Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn and Ethan Peck; executive producers Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers; and co-executive producers Akela Cooper and Davy Perez.
  • Enterprise with stars Scott Bakula, Linda Park, John Billingsley, Dominic Keating, Anthony Montgomery and Connor Trinneer.
  • Deep Space Nine with stars Terry Farrell, Alexander Siddig, Armin Shimerman, Nana Visitor, and Cirroc Lofton; and executive producer Ira Steven Behr.
  • The Original Series with star George Takei and the CEO of Roddenberry Entertainment, Rod Roddenberry.
  • Lower Decks with voice cast Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid, Noël Wells and Eugene Cordero; and series creator, showrunner and executive producer Mike McMahan.
  • Voyager with stars Kate Mulgrew, Robert Picardo, Robert McNeill, Garrett Wang, Tim Russ, and Ethan Phillips.
  • Picard and The Next Generation with legendary cast members Patrick Stewart and Jonathan Frakes.

Furthermore, CBS All Access will also donate $1 to “organizations that champion equality, social justice and the pursuit of scientific advancements” each time anyone Tweets out the hashtag #StarTrekUnitedGives. (Not now. Only on Sept. 8th.) And in the U.S. only, the curated episode marathons wil stream for free at StarTrek.com.
