In just a few days, The New Mutants will hit theaters after a very long-gestating production. Now, 20th Century Studios has dropped a new TV spot from the upcoming movie to pump up the fans. The short video features the five young super-powered people in the secret institution they have been brought into to undergo “treatments.” This teaser casts some light on Maisie Williams’ Wolfsbane. As the name hints, Wolfsbane is a Scottish mutant who can transform into a wolf and, sometimes, into something between human and wolf, like the video shows.

The New Mutants cast includes Anya Taylor-Joy as Magik, Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) as Wolfsbane, together with Henry Zaga as Sunspot, Blu Hunt as Dani Moonstar, and Stranger Things’ Charlie Heaton as Cannonball.
The New Mutants is based on the monthly comic book series of the same name launched in 1982 by Chris Claremont and Bob McLeod. The story follows a group of teenage mutants as heroes in training in the Marvel Universe. Currently, The New Mutants should debut on August 28, however, much depends upon which theater chains will reopen their doors by then.
