A24 Releases The Green Knight-Inspired Fantasy RPG, A Quest For Honor

Well, it seems that fans won’t see the upcoming The Green Knight fantasy movie anytime soon. After the COVID-19 outbreak, A24 postponed the movie’s release, which should have debuted on May 29. While they wait for a new date to be announced, fans can play at the A Quest For Honor, the original tabletop roleplaying game inspired by the movie. For $35, fans can bring home an RPG where they can play as a bard, a sorcerer, a knight, a noble, or a hunter. The starter set also includes a Game Master’s Guide (with the official rules of play, official encounters, and some bonus quests), the Map of the Realm, five character sheets, and a 20-sided die.

A24 has also debuted an ’80s-style commercial to promote the table game. Check it out in the player below.

The official synopsis of The Green Knight reads as follows:

“An epic fantasy adventure based on the timeless Arthurian legend, The Green Knight tells the story of Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), King Arthur’s reckless and headstrong nephew, who embarks on a daring quest to confront the eponymous Green Knight, a gigantic emerald-skinned stranger and tester of men. Gawain contends with ghosts, giants, thieves, and schemers in what becomes a deeper journey to define his character and prove his worth in the eyes of his family and kingdom by facing the ultimate challenger. From visionary filmmaker David Lowery comes a fresh and bold spin on a classic tale from the knights of the round table.”

A24 still has to announce the new release date of The Green Knight. Orders for A Quest For Honor will ship by August 7.
