The CW has released a brand new promo for the upcoming eighth episode of Stargirl. From the freshly released promo, it seems that someone has guessed Courtney’s secret. That someone is Cindy Burman, who has lately assumed the secret identity of Shiv. Cindy and Courtney have locked horns as their superpowered alter-ego’s for the first time in the latest episode of the show, and it was Shiv who prevailed. In the newest promo, Courtney is still healing from her fight. But she has to recover quickly, as her new nemesis is preparing to strike again. Now more than ever, the Justice Society of America has to stick together.

Geary McLeod directed the episode written by Paula Sevenbergen. The official synopsis of “Shiv Part Two” reads:
“After Courtney (Brec Bassinger) gets herself into some trouble following an unexpected confrontation, Pat (Luke Wilson) decides they need to come clean to Barbara (Amy Smart). Meanwhile, Cindy (Meg DeLacy) takes heat from her father after a plan to take matters into her own hands goes awry. Finally, Yolanda (Yvette Monreal), Beth (Anjelika Washington) and Rick (Cameron Gellman) lead an investigation into one of their own classmates. Neil Jackson, Trae Romano and Jake Austin Walker also star.”
Stargirl Episode 1.08 will debut on DC Universe on Monday, July 6, and hits The CW on Tuesday, July 7.
