The Umbrella Academy Season 2 Poster Teases Weird New Problems

At the end of July, Netflix is going to release the second season of The Umbrella Academy series. Unlike many other shows, the COVID-19 outbreak didn’t affect the release of the show’s sophomore season, which seems to be even weirder than the first one. Now, the streaming service has dropped a brand new poster  on Twitter for The Umbrella Academy Season 2, featuring the “same weird family” protagonists of the show.

Interestingly, the sunglasses reflections of all the young protagonists feature some sort of Easter eggs about the upcoming series. Luther’s one, for example, mirrors a newspaper headline that reads: “War Declared” (presumably Vietnam, given what we know about the new period setting). Number Five’s glasses seem to suggest more about life at the Academy itself. And the woman in Diego’s glasses looks like she might be Rita Arya’s Lila in an unusual setting.

You can look for all the other Easter Eggs in the new The Umbrella Academy Season 2 poster below.
