With only two episodes left, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is proceeding towards Season 5’s grand finale. After surviving through an apocalypse zombie, White Canary and co. will enter into an altered dimension where they are part of a TV show. The latest promo released by The CW teases that the upcoming episode will feature a meta-narrative story that will see the Legends living their lives as if they were on the set of Star Trek or Friends. But the fate of the universe still depends on the Legends’ attempts to prevent the Lachesis and her sister Atropos from using the Loom. It seems that the final confrontation between Clotho and her sisters is coming soon.

Marc Guggenheim directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & James Eagan. The official synopsis of “The One Where We’re Trapped on TV” reads:
“After Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) does the one thing that goes against her nature when it comes to her sisters, she tries to protect the Legends by scattering them in different television shows. Of course, in true Legends style some can’t just be blissfully ignorant and happy but figure out a way to end up messing with the system. Caity Lotz, Jes Macallan, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Olivia Swann and Matt Ryan also star.”
