Arnold Schwarzenegger Advises Against Unnecessary Risks Under Curfew

Not even the unstoppable T-800 feels safe to wander during a coronavirus outbreak. Recently, Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger took to his socials to invite his fans to stay home as things settle down in the current health emergency. “We will get through this together,” the caption reads. Like other Californians over the age of 65, he has been asked to self-quarantine.

In the video, the actor couldn’t help but wearing a T-shirt from the apocalyptic franchise that made him famous. The 72-year old explains to his fans that their lives are going to change for a period of time during the restrictions. Schwarzenegger isn’t alone in this video, though. Together with the former governor of California, there are also a couple of cute ponies. Lulu and Whiskey — those are their names — seems to have already conquered the fans’ hearts. And they manage to do that by simply eating some carrots from their master’s hands.

Schwarzenegger’s latest appearance as a T-800 dates back to 2019 when he picked up his weapons once more in Terminator: Dark Fate. Even though the producers planned to make a brand new trilogy, Dark Fate‘s modest results at the box office may force a change of plans.

Over the years, Schwarzenegger has fought against the machines in the Terminator franchise, has defeated wizards in Conan the Barbarian, and has taken on a technologically advanced alien in Predator among many more other things. Fans should not take his counsel lightly. In the meantime, the coronavirus is striking hard at the cinema landscape around the world. Several movie and TV show productions were forced to go on hiatus due to health concerns.

Will you take Arnold Schwarzenegger’s counsel and stay home for as much as possible? Let us know in the comments section below.
