Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has been filming for over a month, but it looks like the casting process is far from over. Deadline is reporting that Miki Ishikawa and Desmond Chiam have joined the upcoming series. However, neither Disney nor Marvel are sharing any details about their characters.
Ishikawa was most recently seen on AMC’s The Terror: Infamy, which premiered earlier this year. She also appeared on Fox’s 9-1-1 and CBS’ NCIS: Los Angeles. Chiam has had recurring roles on The Shannara Chronicles as well as the Starz series, Now Apocalypse. He’s also a series regular on Reef Break, which began airing on ABC in June.

Marvel started production on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in October with Kari Scogland directing. Malcolm Spellman is showrunning the series, with John Wick scribe Derek Kolstad lending his talents as well. Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are reprising their roles as the title characters. The series also features the return of Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo, who will finally don his trademark purple mask from the comics.
Additionally, Emily VanCamp will appear as Sharon Carter for the first time since Captain America: Civil War. Other new cast members include Wyatt Russell as John Walker and Adepero Oduye in an undisclosed role.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will debut on Disney+ in fall 2020.
