Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, and Guardians of the Galaxy Get 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray Releases

Earlier this month, Disney released the original Iron Man and Thor movies in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray alongside Avengers: Endgame. That left just a handful of Marvel films without a 4K release of their own. But that’s going to change in just over a month.

Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, and the original Guardians of the Galaxy will all arrive on 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray on October 1. They’re priced at $44.99 each, although most retailers will sell them for around $29.99.

Best Buy will once again offer exclusive Steelbook releases for all three movies, as seen in the attached gallery below. Best Buy also provided exclusive artwork with stills inspired by each movie. The Steelbooks go for a slightly higher price at $34.99, but they include the same discs and digital copies.

With these final releases, every MCU film should now be available on the 4K format. Marvel previously released Ant-Man and the Wasp in 4K back in 2018, while Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was one of Disney’s initial 4K releases in 2017.

Extras for the films aren’t available yet, but they should be the same as before. The sets will also come with Blu-ray discs, which will likely include the previous special features. Additionally, they will also come with digital copies, so fans can watch their movies via Movies Anywhere.
