Disney is developing multiple limited series featuring characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Loki and WandaVision being two of the shows in development. Both Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen will reprise their roles for their respective series. There are plans for other limited series that will feature other Marvel heroes who haven’t gotten their own movies.

Marvel Studios will oversee the new limited series, with each only consisting of six to eight episodes, with Feige taking a hands-on role in their development.

So far very few of the Marvel TV series have featured characters from the films, despite the shared MCU landscape. Marvel TV and Marvel Studios have operated as separate entities, with shows like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., DaredevilLuke CageJessica Jones and the rest often referring to events in the films while the movies ignore the characters who originated on the small screen.
