Earlier this month, A Song of Ice and Fire author George R.R. Martin has officially confirmed that the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel will definitely feature the Stark family. As production continues for the HBO’s highly-anticipated spin-off in Gaeta, Italy, new set photos have surfaced online through Twitter (via Comic Book). Featuring our first look at what some think could be the Starks’ first house sigil, the full photos appear below.

Jane Goldman (Kick-Ass, Kingsman) and GOT author George R.R. Martin created this big-budget spinoff, written by Goldman based on a story by her and Martin. The untitled pilot takes the prequel concept to a new level, set thousands of years before Game of Thrones. The series chronicles the world’s descent from the Golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour. And only one thing is for sure. From the horrifying secrets of Westeros’ history to the true origin of the white walkers, from the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend… it’s not the story we think we know.

Only shortly before sunset the prop boat came out of the grotto again to go back to the production’s second base in the port of Gaeta. This time the boat’s crew was in costume and the banner (which might be an early Stark one?) revealed. #Bloodmoon #Gaeta pic.twitter.com/WYRFn3aJMT
