AMC Is Bringing The Walking Dead, Preacher, and More to Comic-Con
Several studios and networks are currently announcing their programming schedules for next month’s San Diego Comic-Con. Now, AMC is getting in on the action as well. Via Vital Thrills, the network has just unveiled plans to plug The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, Preacher, and other new shows at this year’s convention.
AMC’s Hall H presence kicks off with a Fear the Walking Dead panel on Friday, July 19 at 12pm PST. The series kicked off its fifth season last month and will air its mid-season finale on July 21. This means that fans will probably have questions about whatever cliffhanger the producers have in store. The new episodes have featured Austin Amelio reprising his role as Dwight from the flagship Walking Dead series. Amelio will appear on the panel alongside co-stars Lennie James, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Danay Garcia, Maggie Grace, Jenna Elfman, Alexa Nisenson, Austin Amelio, Rubén Blades, and Karen David. Fans will also hear from showrunners and executive producers Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg along with co-executive producer Michael Satrazemis.

The Walking Dead universe’s chief content officer, Scott M. Gimple, will be on hand during Fear’s panel as well as the main series’ panel, which takes place during the following hour at 1pm. Gimple will be joined by members Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Danai Gurira, Ryan Hurst, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Avi Nash, Nadia Hilker, Eleanor Matsuura, and Cailey Fleming. Showrunner Angela Kang and executive producers Robert Kirkman, Dave Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd, and Greg Nicotero will also appear. Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick will moderate the panels for both Walking Dead shows.
Additionally, AMC will hype the fourth and final season of Preacher at 7pm PST. IGN’s Terri Schwartz will moderate the panel. She’ll be joined by executive producer Seth Rogen and stars Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Graham McTavish, and Mark Harelik. The network is also gearing up for the Comic-Con debuts of The Terror: Infamy and NOS4A2.
