Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Animated Series Arrives on Netflix

DreamWorks Animation has announced that Jurassic World will open once again its gates for a new thrilling and wondering adventure. An animated series set within the same timeline as the 2015 blockbuster will make its debut in 2020 on Netflix. The upcoming Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous will follow the adventures of a group of six teenagers who are given a once in a lifetime opportunity. Once they make their arrival on Isla Nublar, they will soon meet the perilous inhabitants of the island.

Past attempts at Jurassic-inspired animated shows have failed, but life, ah, as they say, finds a way. It should be interesting to see if this series will introduce new areas of the park. Moreover, we should learn how the events of the animated series will be connected with the ones explored the movies.

The series sees Scott Kreamer (Pinky Malinky) and Lane Lueras (Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny) serve as both showrunners and executive producers. Additionally, Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, and Colin Trevorrow will serve as executive producers.
