Emilia Clarke Reveals the Game of Thrones Coffee Cup Culprit

The last season of HBO’s fantasy drama Game of Thrones may go down in history for many reasons, not the least of which is the coffee cup which mysteriously appeared in episode 8.04. As soon as that infamous coffee cup has been digitally removed by HBO, series star Emilia Clarke joked about the incident on her Instagram, revealing whose it was….

Did I just stumble upon the truth here?! The cup bearer does not drinketh the Starbucks tea,” Clarke wrote in the caption. “Oh and this ain’t a spoiler just a lost wanderer coming home for a mid filming cuppa… Jason Mamoa (@prideofgypsies) you so fire you make my hair turn blue.

Naomi Watts and Josh Whitehouse have been cast in the prequel series. S.J. Clarkson (The DefendersJessica Jones) will direct the pilot.
