The cast of Netflix’s The Witcher series has a new entry, as Vikings star Steve Wall has revealed he’s joined the fantasy series. Wall will portray Boholt, the leader of the Crinfrid Reavers, and posted a photo from the set in La Palma, Spain. The actor announced the new gig on Instagram, saying that he has “been shooting in some pretty spectacular places.”

Wall previously played Einar in History Channel series Vikings, and jazz trumpeter Chet Baker in the 2018’s My Foolish Heart. He now joins a cast which sees Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, 17-year-old Freya Allan as Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, Jodhi May as Queen Calanthe, Bjorn Hlynur Haraldsson as Queen Calanthe’s husband, the knight Eist, Mimi Ndiweni as fledgling sorceress Fringilla, Adam Levy as Mousesack, MyAnna Buring as Tissaia, and Millie Brady as Princess Renfri.
The Witcher series is be based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels, which themselves were the basis for the popular Witcher video game franchise
Netflix will supposedly release The Witcher series sometime in 2020.
