Terminator: Dark Fate will be Arnold Schwarzenegger’s fifth Terminator movie since the original hit in 1984. While Terminator Genisys failed to reignite the franchise, Schwarzenegger has high hopes for the upcoming sixth film. Recently, Schwarzenegger spoke with TheArnoldFans to share his excitement while offering a few details about the film’s budget.
“David Ellison was the producer, he’s of course a very young and ambitious guy who raised the money for the movie, which is important,” said Schwarzenegger. “The budget was somewhere between 160 million and 200 million dollars. I couldn’t tell you exactly because the movie isn’t finished yet. It’s still being worked on. Visual effects are being done now. I’ve seen 15 minutes and it looked great and I was very excited about it.”

Producer James Cameron has indicated that the next Terminator movie serves as a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Therefore, the plot will ignore all other Terminator films. According to Schwarzenegger, filming is now complete.
“Well, I’m reluctant to say anything about Terminator 6 other than we’ve successfully completed filming of it in Budapest,” added Schwarzenegger. “I was filming there for three months. I had a wonderful time and it was a fantastic city to shoot with great tax credits. 36 percent you get back for every dollar that you spent over there.”
Linda Hamilton will also return in the sequel to reprise her role as Sarah Connor. Additionally, Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna, Natalia Reyes, and Diego Boneta co-star in the film. Terminator: Dark Fate will hit the theaters on November 1.
