As the release of Warner Bros’ Shazam! approaches, fans are increasingly curious about why there hasn’t been a new trailer for the film since the first one released in July. Rumors of a new Shazam! trailer have circled for months, but one has never appeared online. Responding on Twitter to fans who were demanding to have new information about the trailer, Director David F. Sandberg said there are no new updates to share but with the movie so close, the marketing won’t suddenly slow down.
I just don’t have any specific trailer updates that I can share with you at this point. All I can do is have fun with it or say nothing. Most of the time I do the latter. But like you say, the movie is almost here, and it’s not like the marketing is going to slow down now. https://t.co/bWJIqIJ30j

Director James Wan stepped in and showed all support to Sandberg, having been in the same situation when Aquaman faced a similar close examination. Wan gave out the best advice possible for Sandberg, to ignore the fan-demands, as he is confident that things will work out for the Shazam! After all, Warner Bros. marketing campaign certainly paid off for Aquaman, as it became the biggest DC movie ever even passing the films in Christopher Nolan’s Batman Trilogy.
