The full DC Comics June 2018 solicitations
The full DC Comics June 2018 solicitations have been released, and in the gallery viewer below, you can now check out all the artwork, synopses and product images for more than 100 different upcoming releases.
The new month brings several new starts for the DCU with some brand new #1s, including Justice League #1 ! The new series is written by fan-favorite Scott Snyder with art by Jim Cheung and Mark Morales for the first issue. This iteration of the team goes back to the roster from the classic Justice League animated series, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Martian Manhunter, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern (John Stewart), and Aquaman! Another new series kicking off in June will be Hawkman from Robert Venditti and Bryan Hitch, Plastic Man by Gail Simone and Adriana Melo, and The Unexpected by Steve Orlando, Ryan Sook, and Cary Nord.
June also sees the debut of Brian Michael Bendis’ first full length work for DC with the six-issue mini-series The Man of Steel . Starting May 30 and running weekly until July 4, the series features a new artist on each issue, including Ivan Reis and Joe Prado, Evan “Doc” Shaner, Ryan Sook, Kevin Maguire, Adam Hughes, and Jason Fabok. In the series, a new era begins for Superman as a threat from his earliest origins reemerges to destroy the Last Son of Krypton. As Superman struggles to come to grips with what has happened to his wife and son, he must also face a new threat that’s determined to burn down Metropolis!
Finally, June brings another round of DC and Hanna-Barbera crossovers, including Aquaman and Jabberjaw (with Shazam and Captain Caveman), Black Lightning and Hong Kong Phooey (with Spectre and Funky Phantom), The Flash and Speed Buggy, and Super Sons and Dynomutt!
