New Episode Synopses for Supergirl, The Flash, Legends, and Arrow

The CW has released the official episode synopses for upcoming episodes of SupergirlThe FlashDC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Arrow set to premiere late this month.

Titled “We Can Be Heroes,” episode 2.10 of Supergirl is set to air January 30 and is described as follows:

“After Livewire (guest star Brit Morgan) seemingly breaks out of prison, Supergirl is intent on recapturing her. After training Mon-El, Supergirl takes him with her when she sees Livewire attack the NCPD but things go awry when Mon-El puts Supergirl before the citizens of National City. Meanwhile, James decides to come clean with Kara and M’Gann (guest star Sharon Leal), has a psychic attack and collapses into a coma.”

Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist alongside Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Alexandra “Alex” Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow “Winn” Schott, Jenna Dewan Tatum as Lucy Lane (sister of Lois), Chris Wood as Mon-El, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw/J’onn J’onzz, Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord, with Dean Cain and Helen Slater.

Titled “Dead or Alive,” episode 3.11 of The Flash is set to air January 31 and is described as follows:

“H.R.’s past catches up with him when a bounty hunter with vibe powers named Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho) arrives in Central City to bring him back to Earth-19 to stand trial for his crime. It turns out inter-dimensional travel is illegal on their Earth. H.R. surrenders but when Barry (Grant Gustin) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) find out that H.R.’s only hope would be to challenge Gypsy to a fight to the death, they intercede and Cisco offers to fight Gypsy instead.”

The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramo, Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells and Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West. Season 2 of the series also introduced Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West and the Earth-2 version of The Flash as played by John Wesley Shipp (who also played Barry’s father, Henry Allen).

Titled “The Legion of Doom,” episode 2.10 of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is set to air in its new timeslot at 9 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, and is described as follows:

“The Legends are determined to find and rescue Rip (Arthur Darvill), but first must focus on locating the Spear of Destiny. Stein (Victor Garber) thinks he has the perfect person to help but knows involving her will be risky. Meanwhile, Malcom Merlyn (guest star John Barrowman) and Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) realize that Thawne (guest star Matt Letscher) is pitting them against each other. Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Franz Drameh and Maisie Richardson-Sellers also star.”

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/The ATOM, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Victor Garber and Franz Drameh as Professor Martin Stein & Jefferson “Jax” Jackson/Firestorm, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, and
Nick Zano as Nate Heywood/Steel.

Titled “Second Chances,” episode 5.11 of Arrow is set to air February 1 and is officially described as follows:

“In his quest to take down Kovar, Oliver gets help from a surprising source – Talia al Ghul (guest star Lexa Doig). However, when she reveals what she wants from him in exchange, Oliver isn’t sure he can accept her help. Felicity attempts to hack the NSA to help free Diggle but when her online efforts are flagged, she faces off against an unknown adversary. Meanwhile, Curtis tells the team about a female vigilante, Tina Boland (guest star Juliana Harkavay), he uncovered online who has been wreaking havoc all over the country.”

Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak, John Barrowman as Malcom Merlyn, with Paul Blackthorne as Detective Lance. The series is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and Sarah Schechter.
