Snyder talks difference in New Batmobile and The Dark Knight’s tumbler
Following his premiere of a new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice clip on Conan, director Zack Snyder sat down to talk about the movie and specifically the new Batmobile and how it’s different from Tumbler from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy
“First of all when we were working on the movie and we were like ‘We’re going to put Batman in the movie, that’s cool,’ I said ‘We need a Batmobile, right?’ Because if you’re the smallest amount of a dork you want to make a Batmobile right? That seems like the first thing you want to do. I think the cool thing that we try to do, you’ve seen the Chris Nolan Batman movies and the Tumbler, they repurposed a military vehicle. So the cool thing about our Batmobile is it is purpose-built by Bruce Wayne to be the Batmobile, it allows it to be slightly Battier.”
