Deadpool and X-Men: Apocalypse Trailers Coming in December

The X-Men: Apocalypse trailer will be attached to Star Wars: The Force Awakens

The wait for some movie trailers can seem like a long process, especially when the release is so close but there still hasn’t been a frame of footage. Speaking with Collider, “X-Men” producer Simon Kinberg revealed that Deadpool and X-Men: Apocalypse trailers are coming before the end of the year!

“Our first trailer will be on Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” Kinberg says of “Apocalypse.” “It’s our first thing out there so it is somewhat of a teaser but it’s certainly longer than a minute and it has a ton of cool stuff in it.”

Kinberg went on to confirm a second Deadpool trailer will debut in December as well, though if it will also be attached to Star Wars: The Force Awakens remains to be seen.

“I’ve seen a version of the trailer that’s pretty awesome, that’s close to being ready. I think the plan is also in December to put out the new trailer.”

Ryan Reynolds stars as the title character alongside T.J. Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Morena Baccarin as Copycat and Ed Skrein as Ajax. Confirmed to be rated RDeadpool is scheduled for a release on February 12, 2016.

X-Men: Apocalypse stars Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult as Magneto, Professor X, Mystique, and Beast, the film will also see the return of Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, Lucas Till as Havok and newcomers Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Ben Hardy as Angel, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Olivia Munn as Psylocke and Lana Condor as Jubilee. Oscar Isaac is starring as the film’s title antagonist. X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release on May 27, 2016.
