Big Hero 6 Wins Best Animated Feature at 87th Annual Academy Awards

In a bit of an upset, Disney’s Marvel-inspired animated film Big Hero 6 won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, beating out the likes of The BoxtrollsHow to Train Your Dragon 2Song of the Sea, and The Tale of the Princess Kaguya. Co-directors Don Hall and Chris Williams accepted the award along with the film’s producer, Roy Conli.

Big Hero 6 has grossed over $546 million at the global box office and features the voices of Ryan Potter, Scott Adsit, TJ Miller, Jamie Chung, Damon Wayans Jr., Genesis Rodriguez, Daniel Henney, Maya Rudolph, James Cromwell and Alan Tudyk. The film is available now on DVD and Blu-ray.
