The Guardians of the Galaxy will Assemble Next Monday on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Marvel Studios and ABC have revealed that all five members of the Guardians of the Galaxy including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper will appear together on“Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Monday, July 21, the same evening as the film’s worldwide premiere. The group will talk about the film and also test their Marvel knowledge as each goes head-to-head in a trivia contest against Mia Grace, a 5-year-old superhero expert from Albany, New York. An action-packed, epic space adventure, the movie expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.

Opening in theaters on August 1, the big screen adaptation stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Lee Pace, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close and Benicio del Toro.
