When Alien: Isolation was announced, it was revealed that players would be taking on the role of Ellen Ripley’s daughter Amanda Ripley, but now fans will be able to play as Sigourney Weaver’s iconic character in “The Nostromo Edition” pre-order DLC for the game. Twentieth Century Fox, SEGA, and The Creative Assembly have revealed that not only will these two bonus missions allow players to recreate their favorite scenes from Ridley Scott’s film but that Sigourney Weaver, Tom Skerritt (Dallas), Veronica Cartwright (Lambert), Harry Dean Stanton (Brett), and Yaphet Kotto (Parker) will all reprise their roles for the game.
Players that pre-order the game will automatically receive the “Crew Expenable” bonus mission which allows them to play as Ripley, Dallas or Parker, and let you explore the Nostromo from habitation deck down through engineering, coordinating your efforts with Lambert and Ash to lure the Alien into the ship’s airlock. In addition, players that pre-order at Gamestop will receive the “Last Survivor” mission which puts them solely in Ellen Ripley’s shoes as she attempts to escape the ship.
